Compassion
Sources : Wikipedia
You can generate sympathy by painting a word picture of someone who needs help. Share details about that person’s life and ordeals. But be careful. If the problem is distasteful and you present it too graphically, you might make your reader turn away. There’s a fine line between sympathy and revulsion.
Compassion is an emotion, not a virtue unless disciplined
That compassion is natural to human beings there is no question. But does it pertain to our higher or to our lower natures? As even or precisely those who take compassion for a virtue acknowledge, it is an emotion. Can an emotion be a virtue? Yes, if the keynote of virtue is naturalness in the sense of spontaneity or authenticity. No, if what defines virtue is the perfection of our nature through the triumph of reason over passion. For this reason the long history of thought about compassion (stretching back at least 2,500 years now) has revolved around just this issue.
Pride
Sources : Wikipedia
Pride is an emotion which can refer to a strong sense of self-esteem or self-respect. Look in the mirror what do you see-if you do not have self-esteem where are you heading this day. Along this same line we look at self-respect to which one must possess to endure each day as without self-respect for ones self there is no respect for others either. The presence of negative thoughts about other people indicates pride, the vanity mode of which reflects a sense of superiority, and the hate mode originates destructive comments about them.
DESIRE
Desire is a sense of longing for a person or object or hoping for an outcome. Desire is the fire that sets action aflame. The same sense is expressed by emotions such as "craving" or "hankering". When a person desires something or someone, their sense of longing is excited by the enjoyment or the thought of the item or person, and they want to take actions to obtain their goal.

Getting Teens To Be More Risk Taking
Here are some ideas I have for positive risks you can encourage for teens:
1) Skateboarding or Surfing
2) Skiing and Snowboarding
3) River Rafting
4) Rock Climbing
5) Paragliding, Hang-gliding, Skydiving or Parasailing
6) Ride Rollercoasters
Benefits of Extreme Sports
All types of sporting activities provide physical exercise, which is vital for a developing teen. Extreme sports, by their very nature, are non-traditional and may encourage a teen to excel and thus enhance his or her self-esteem.
Extreme Sports Safety
- Make sure you have the right gear
- Only do a sport under proper supervision
- Get the right training beforehand
- Only practice the sport in the correct locale
- Always observe rules concerning proper weather and other conditions
Encourage Your Kids To Play Extreme Sports
Understanding what your child needs and giving them insight into what will help them out the most is an important part of learning to raise a child. Sometimes, this is not seen as easily as others, but it is important to keep the right influences in perspective. As a parent, one of the best things you can give your child is the ability to decide whether they want to play in sports.
Sometimes, encouraging your child to join a sport isn't as easy as it looks. Of course, as a parent, you understand the benefits of them going outside and being part of a physical activity. Most likely, you have also seen the benefits of working on a team and working towards accomplishing goals that are in sports specifically. This is important to keep in perspective with what your child needs. Even though you may see it as beneficial, it may not be to their benefit.
One of the most detrimental things you can do to your kid is force them to take a sport. At first, it is good to encourage them to try, and make your best efforts to getting them to all of the practices and all of the games. It is your position and your role to make sure that they participate in a physical activity, and specifically a sport, if you believe that it will be good for their mental and physical health.
Extreme Sports Market Value
One of the keys to properly leverage your brand among today’s key demographics is to establish a strong sports marketing value proposition.
Sports marketing is now the seventh largest industry in the United States, and growing by leaps and bounds, not just domestically, but worldwide. Because it has become so saturated, it’s important to have a team that knows the best ways to deliver your sports marketing value proposition.
The Arena

Extreme Sports
An extreme sport (also called action sport and adventure sport) is a popular term for certain activities perceived as having a high level of inherent danger, and that are counter-cultural. These activities often involve speed, height, a high level of physical exertion, and highly specialized gear or spectacular stunts.
The definition of an extreme sport is not exact — for example, although studies show that (road) cycling ranks as the sport with the highest rate of injury, it is not considered an extreme sport because it is not counter-cultural. The term's origin is also unclear, but it gained popularity in the 1990s when it was picked up by marketing companies to promote the X Games.
